First Meeting: Exam

Your first meeting will be a 30-45 minute consultation meeting with our Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, Robert D. Rehnke, M.D. Dr. Rehnke meets with you personally for the entire consultation. He will answer your personal questions and provide you with details on the cosmetic plastic surgery procedure you're interested in. He'll advise you on how the plastic surgery procedure will affect your body and the recovery time. If an exam is necessary, a nurse or medical assistant will always accompany the doctor. There is a $25.00 consultation fee.

After your Cosmetic Plastic Surgery Consultation with Dr. Rehnke you'll meet with our Patient Coordinator. The Coordinator will show you a number of cosmetic plastic surgery before and after photographs related to your procedure. In the meantime, please visit our Gallery for a few before and after photos. At this appointment, the Patient Coordinator will also get you a quote for your cosmetic plastic surgery procedure.

If at this point you know that you want cosmetic plastic surgery, you'll be scheduled for a plastic surgery pre-op meeting, and for any necessary pre-op testing (i.e., blood work, EKG, etc.).

If you need time to think about your Cosmetic Plastic Surgery options, you may call back at any time, or schedule a follow-up consultation. Your quote is valid for three months.

Pre-Operative Appointment

After cosmetic plastic surgery is scheduled, the pre-op meeting takes place. This meeting covers all the paperwork; i.e. general information, consents, risks, and payment. There are financing options available. Contact us for details.

Your Plastic Surgery Day

When the day arrives, you'll be taken to Pre-op where you'll be prepped for cosmetic plastic surgery. The type of surgery determines the length of the cosmetic procedure. After your plastic surgery is complete, recovery time is only about an hour. Your family may bring you home after this.

Plastic Surgery Follow-up

Dr. Rehnke will call you the evening of your plastic surgery to see how you're doing. Should you need to, you may call the office anytime and the answering service will connect you with the doctor.

The first follow-up visit is either the next day or in 3-5 days depending on the type of cosmetic plastic surgery performed. The number of follow-up visits vary by cosmetic procedure, but the doctor will discuss with you how often to come in. There is no charge for follow-up visits.
